Terms for using ProfitLens Analytics.

These practical SaaS terms describe what ProfitLens provides, merchant responsibilities and important limits of the service.

What ProfitLens is

ProfitLens Analytics is a Shopify app that helps merchants understand operating profit by combining Shopify data, configured cost inputs and connected advertising cost data where available.

Eligibility and account

You must be authorized to install apps and connect data sources for the Shopify store using ProfitLens. You are responsible for keeping access credentials and connected accounts secure.

Shopify and integration connections

ProfitLens requires a Shopify connection to operate. Optional integrations, such as advertising cost reporting, are controlled by the merchant and may be disconnected or reconnected.

Cost input responsibility

Profit calculations depend on connected data and configured assumptions. Merchants are responsible for reviewing COGS, shipping assumptions, fixed costs, ad connections and other cost inputs for accuracy and completeness.

ProfitLens provides reporting and analytics. It does not provide tax, legal, accounting, investment or financial advice and does not replace professional review.

Service availability

We aim to provide a reliable service, but availability may be affected by maintenance, infrastructure providers, Shopify, advertising platforms or other external services.

Billing and pricing

ProfitLens offers paid subscription plans, including plans priced at $19/month and $59/month. Billing is handled through Shopify managed pricing or Shopify billing. Merchants can cancel at any time through Shopify. If the app is uninstalled from Shopify, the related subscription is cancelled according to Shopify's billing and app deinstallation process. Plan availability, features and pricing may change over time, but changes will be presented before merchants accept a new paid subscription.

User responsibilities

Users must not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with service operation, violate applicable laws or platform rules, or connect accounts they are not authorized to use.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ProfitLens is provided without warranties that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for every specific business purpose. ProfitLens is not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate source data, incomplete cost inputs, unavailable third-party services, merchant configuration errors or business decisions made based on reports. Nothing in these terms limits liability where liability cannot legally be limited.

Termination and deinstallation

Merchants may uninstall ProfitLens through Shopify. Access may be suspended or terminated if the service is misused or required fees are not paid. Deletion requests can be sent to support@profitlensanalytics.com.
